Everything you need to know before your first appointment.
How long should I book for my first visit?
We recommend 60 minutes for a first visit as this allows time for a full case history and assessment before treatment begins. However we can accommodate shorter initial sessions where needed, just get in touch before booking and we'll find the right option for you.
Unsure which treatment to choose?
You don't need to decide in advance. If unsure simply book an initial osteopathy appointment. Your practitioner will assess what's right for you and guide your treatment approach from there.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
A full case history, movement assessment, and treatment all in the same session. Wear comfortable clothing if possible.
Is treatment covered by health insurance?
Osteopathy is recognised by most major health insurers. We work on a self-pay basis — you pay for your appointment and we provide a detailed receipt for you to claim back from your insurer. Please check with your policy before booking.
How do session packages work?
Packages are flexible, use your sessions for any treatment at that appointment length. Mix osteopathy and osteo-massage as you need.
Do packages expire?
Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Get in touch if you have any questions before buying.
